ABOUT THE AUCTIONEER

Michael A. Salvadore Jr., President of Salvadore Auctions & Appraisals, Inc., is a Graduate of the University of Rhode Island College of Business. Prior to becoming an Auctioneer, Michael has had a long career in the jewelry manufacturing and metalworking industry spanning multiple disciplines of metal stamping, tool and die skills, centrifugal casting, along with global sales and marketing. With many years of experience in machinery and equipment sales, along with comprehensive business brokering knowledge and experience, he brings to his clients complete expertise in valuation of individual assets as well as competent business valuation and placement experience.

Currently active in the Jewelry and Metalworking Industry, Salvadore is Director, Incorporator and Secretary of the Attleboro Providence Jewelry Network Inc., which is dedicated to the global competitive improvement of its' member companies, he is a Director of the Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America (MJSA), the largest global trade organization for the jewelry manufacturing industry, and is Incorporator and Past President of the Metal Findings Manufacturers Association Inc., a national trade association of metal stamping entities. He is also Treasuruer and Director of the Massachusetts State Auctioneers Association (MSAA) and Co-Founder and President of the Rhode Island State Auctioneers Association.

His broad business knowledge has led him to become a Commissioner and Treasurer of the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation, the nation's 23rd largest waste management company.

A Member of the National Auctioneers Association, a Director of the Massachusetts State Auctioneers Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, and affiliated with the American Society of Appraisers, and a Graduate of the Missouri Auction School, Salvadore brings original thinking along with creative and unique approaches to auction sales management and asset valuation. Licensed in multiple states, bolstered by extensive contact lists and creative marketing strategies, along with well executed electronic marketing, Salvadore Auctions & Appraisals Inc. is expertly positioned to maximize your asset values.
